My son asked me to draw a new game character he is creating. We worked together to make sure it was exactly how he was imagining it. I had so much fun collaborating with him on this project. He definitely has an artist’s eye!! And the giant smile I got from him when we finished the piece made this mama’s heart so happy!

How we did it:

1. Start with a messy sketch

2. Do a second sketch to incorporate changes and more details (be sure to use scissors and tape to make additional changes)

3. Do a final, bare-bones sketch to prepare for inking
